CAA UK Chapter

The CAA UK chapter is intended as a forum for research in the area of archaeological computing and quantitative methods. The chapter meeting aims to facilitate exchange of ideas between researchers and cultural resource managers, and is particularly focussed on the presentation of new and innovative research areas. The meeting organisers are also particularly keen to encourage new researchers to present their work for the first time.

Many thanks to all who attended the CAA UK 2005, 2006 and 2007 Chapter Meetings and made them such a success. Abstracts for papers presented at the meeting remain accessible from this website by following this link.

The CAA UK 2008 Chapter Meeting will be hosted by the University of York on the 1st and 2nd of February 2008. Further information and registration details are available on their website at http://www.york.ac.uk/conferences/caauk2008/. If you would like to discuss presentations and session proposals in advance, or to be added to our mailing list, please contact the CAA UK 2008 conference organising committee on caauk@ads.ahds.ac.uk.
